CARENCRO, La. (KLFY) – Megan Thibodeaux, 33, of Carencro, was arrested on drug possession charges during a traffic stop on Tuesday. Carencro Police took Thibodeaux into custody after illegal substances were discovered in her vehicle.
The arrest occurred when a K-9 Sargent conducted the traffic stop and helped uncover methamphetamine, marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia. Authorities also noted that an 18-month-old infant was present in the vehicle at the time of the arrest.
Thibodeaux has been booked into the Lafayette Parish Jail on multiple charges, including possession of a Schedule I substance, possession of a Schedule II substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of controlled dangerous substances in the presence of a juvenile.
