McClain & Lenor Arrested in College Station Beauty Theft

Pair Accused of Stealing $4K in Beauty Products

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Two women dubbed “beauty queens” were arrested Thursday afternoon after employees at an HEB store reported an active theft in the cosmetics section.

According to the College Station Police Department, officers were alerted to a theft in progress at the HEB located at Texas Ave. and Holleman Dr. W. Staff members provided detailed descriptions of the suspects, allowing officers to quickly locate and detain them.

Police say the two women — Ladetia Renee McClain of Houston and Treneice Brenetta Lenor of Bayton — had targeted multiple HEB locations. Investigators discovered they had stolen beauty products from several stores in the College Station area as well as from an HEB in Magnolia.

Authorities recovered nearly $4,000 in stolen beauty supplies from the pair.

Both McClain and Lenor were arrested and charged with several counts of theft of property. McClain also faces an additional charge for possession of marijuana under two ounces.

Charges include:

Theft of Property: $2,500–$30,000

Theft of Property: $750–$2,500

Theft of Property: $100–$750

The investigation remains ongoing.
