MANSEHRA — Authorities have arrested two prominent drug dealers involved in the international and inter-provincial trafficking of ‘ice,’ a potent form of crystal methamphetamine, near the Bedra interchange.
The Mansehra Narcotics Control Team, led by ETO Narcotics Majid Khan and local excise officials, conducted the operation following a confidential tip-off. During a vehicle search of a car bearing registration 393-BMJ, officers apprehended Shahzad Khan, son of Romaan Gul, and Fahad Khan, son of Asghar Khan — both residents of Bara in the Khyber district.
Initial investigations revealed significant digital evidence connecting the suspects to a global drug trafficking syndicate. Seized mobile phones contained photos, videos, and voice messages detailing the shipment and sale of ice worldwide.
Law enforcement officials have formally charged the accused, citing their central role in distributing ice and other narcotics on an international scale.
Further investigations are ongoing, with authorities aiming to dismantle the broader network and identify additional domestic and foreign dealers linked to the syndicate.
