A special team from Coimbatore City Police made a breakthrough in a murder case by arresting a man from Ernakulam district, Kerala, on Tuesday. The arrested individual, identified as J. Shiyaz (35), is accused of murdering his roommate, R. Arumugam (35) of Dindigul, last week.
According to police reports, J. Shiyaz was located in his hideout in Ernakulam and arrested by the special team following a week-long investigation. The crime occurred in Coimbatore, where the two men were reportedly roommates.
