Madhapur Police have arrested Sai Charan, a drug peddler who had been using drivers from various travel companies to transport MDMA from Bengaluru to Hyderabad. The police seized the drugs from his possession during the arrest.
Sai Charan reportedly used drivers from several travel companies, including Rajeshwari Travels, GVR Travels, Star Travels, and Cherry Travels, to smuggle MDMA into the city. This arrest marks the latest in a series of investigations into his drug trafficking operations.
The police revealed that Sai Charan had previously been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau for supplying drugs to businessmen across cities including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Nellore, Rajamahendravaram, and Visakhapatnam.
In addition to Sai Charan, the Madhapur police also arrested several individuals who were involved in purchasing the MDMA. These individuals, identified as Malik, Lokesh, Sandeep Reddy, Rahul, and Subramanyam, are now in police custody for further investigation.
