Logan Otter Arrested for Multi-Store Theft in Bowling Green

La Grange man charged with shoplifting over $3,300

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Authorities arrested a La Grange man Monday following a reported theft at a store along American Avenue.

Logan MJ Otter, 27, was observed loading tools into a large tote and passing through a self-checkout area, paying only for the tote, according to a news release.

Officers reportedly recovered more than $3,300 worth of merchandise taken from three area stores, though the stores were not identified.

Otter was charged with:

Two counts of theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting over $1,000)

Receiving stolen property (over $1,000)

Theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting under $1,000)

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not released additional details.
