CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY — A 45-year-old woman, Leslie Jo Adcock, was arrested on March 27 after deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in her possession while serving an Emergency Protective Order.
Deputies arrived at a residence on Clark Store-Sinking Fork Road to deliver the order. Upon contact, Adcock was reportedly uncooperative and, for safety reasons, was placed in handcuffs.
During a routine search prior to transport, deputies discovered a small plastic baggie containing a crystal-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine in her front right pants pocket. Also found was a three-inch straw, commonly used to consume meth.
Adcock was immediately arrested and charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
She was then transported to the Christian County Jail. The sheriff’s office has not released further details at this time.
