GREENVILLE, N.C. — Latia S. Powell, 40, was arrested by the Greenville Police Department on June 3 near the 500 block of W 14th Street, close to Beatty Street.
Powell faces several charges, including identity theft, driving while impaired (DWI), and resisting a public officer. Records also indicate she had a prior charge for Failure To Appear related to driving while her license was revoked.
According to online documents, Powell provided a false name to officers investigating a car accident.
She is currently held at the Pitt County Detention Center with a total bond set at $28,000.
