Kochi City police are considering adding more cases to the existing first information reports (FIRs) related to an alleged gold investment scam orchestrated by a local jeweller.

The Central police have already arrested four individuals, including brothers R.J. Antony, Joby, Joseph, and Johnson, who were the proprietors of Athira Jewellery located at the High Court Junction. The jewellery shop has since closed down, and three FIRs have been filed against the accused in connection with the fraud.

The investigation into the gold investment scheme, which allegedly deceived many investors, is ongoing as the police explore the possibility of incorporating more cases into the current investigation.
