The police have apprehended two additional suspects linked to a large-scale scam that deceived numerous job seekers across Kerala with false promises of railway employment. The arrested individuals, Sharath S. Sivan from Punalur in Kollam and Geeta Rani from Thiruvananthapuram, were taken into custody by the Thalassery police.
Both individuals face charges for misleading aspirants with promises of roles such as clerk, train manager, and station manager. Notably, Rani has a history of criminal activity, with seven previous cases of similar fraud already against her.
