Bristol Township, PA – Kelvontae Nasheed Perry, 30, has been sentenced to 21 ½ to 44 years in state prison for the 2020 murder of Shaquille Love, a victim of a violent neighborhood feud. The sentencing, which took place on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, was handed down by Common Pleas Judge Wallace H. Bateman Jr., following Perry’s December conviction for third-degree murder.
Perry was found guilty of conspiring with others to kill Love in a senseless act of violence that stemmed from a long-standing feud between rival Bristol Township neighborhoods. In addition to third-degree murder, Perry was convicted on multiple charges, including aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and tampering with evidence.
During the trial, Chief Deputy District Attorney Kristin M. McElroy described Love as an innocent victim who was simply giving a friend a ride when he crossed paths with Perry and others involved in the conflict. “Shaquille Love was not part of the neighborhood feud,” McElroy noted, emphasizing the tragic loss of a young man with plans to serve his country.
Love’s death serves as a stark reminder of the devastating impact of neighborhood violence, with Perry’s actions extinguishing the potential of an innocent life.
