Kadaba Police have arrested a man for allegedly attempting to sexually harass a woman sleeping in a shed attached to her house.
The accused, Umesh Gowda, a resident of Kadaba, reportedly trespassed into the shed on the night of November 13 and attempted to harass the woman, according to a complaint filed with the police.
The woman’s husband and children rushed to her aid upon hearing her screams. During the confrontation, the accused allegedly assaulted the family members and made casteist remarks against the woman.
Kadaba police have registered a case, arrested Umesh Gowda, and produced him before the court, which has remanded him to judicial custody.
