COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jeremiah and Skyler Buckler are facing charges related to pawning stolen property valued at over $100,000, following an ongoing investigation into vehicle thefts in Columbus.
The thefts were first reported on August 20, when police intercepted a vehicle linked to the crime that was loaded with stolen tools. Skyler Buckler was arrested for receiving stolen property and later released on bond.
Further investigation led officers to monitor the suspects’ vehicle on August 27, resulting in the detention of both Jeremiah and Skyler Buckler. Numerous stolen tools were found in their possession.
Recovered items include a Spectra Geospatial Rover high-precision surveying receiver valued at $30,000 and Milwaukee tools worth approximately $654. The victim had purchased replacement tools after a previous theft.
Police returned the recovered property to the rightful owners. Jeremiah Buckler’s next court date is scheduled for September 23, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
