DOVER, Delaware — Delaware State Police have arrested Isiah Worthy, 29, of Dover, following a burglary of two state office buildings and the theft of a state-owned vehicle.
On November 8, 2025, at approximately 3:50 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm at the Delaware State Police – State Bureau of Identification at 600 South Bay Road. Worthy, wearing a mask, allegedly forced entry using a steel sewer lid, damaged property, and stole money.
Investigators found that Worthy had also broken into the Office of Management and Budget – Fleet Services, stealing key fobs and a state-owned Ford Mustang Mach-E. While fleeing, he struck two parked cars. Troopers later recovered a bank bag containing discarded stolen money and found the Mustang Mach-E abandoned via GPS tracking.
Police located Worthy walking nearby and detained him without incident. Additional stolen money was recovered from his person.
Worthy was charged and arraigned for multiple felony and misdemeanor offenses, including:
Two counts of 3rd-degree burglary
Theft of a motor vehicle
Two counts of possession of burglar tools
Two counts of wearing a disguise during a felony
Two counts of theft under $1,500
Two counts of criminal mischief ($1,000–$5,000)
Two counts of criminal mischief under $1,000
He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $14,050 secured bond.
