A 23-year-old man was arrested for burglary after breaking into Cascade Eye Care in Redding on Wednesday night, according to local authorities. The Redding Police Department responded to an alarm at the business around 11:20 p.m. and discovered a broken window at the scene.
To locate the suspect, police established a perimeter around the building and deployed K9 Lido to assist. Officers made multiple announcements, and the suspect, later identified as Isaiah Garner, was heard inside the business. Garner complied with police commands, exited the building, and was taken into custody without further incident.
Garner, a resident of Redding, was booked into the Shasta County Jail on burglary charges.
