Indore Police Arrest Four Men in MD Drug Trafficking Case

Four arrested for supplying MD drugs from Rajasthan to Indore

Acting on intelligence, the Crime Branch of Indore police arrested four men involved in the illegal trade of MD drugs on Thursday. The arrest took place near Triveneshwar Mandir, Patthar Godam Road, where the suspects were found acting suspiciously in a car.

Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotiya stated that the accused revealed plans to supply MD drugs sourced from Rajasthan to various parts of Indore city. The four arrested men were identified as:

Ishan Khan (24), a resident of Jhalawar, Rajasthan, employed at a clothing shop in Mandsaur

Shahnawaz (27), a class 4 dropout and former auto-rickshaw driver from Chhatripura Main Road

Nayab Shah (23), working at a cosmetic shop near Rajwada

Chitranjan Singh Rathore (24), an MBA student from Mandsaur who admitted joining the drug trade for quick money

Police recovered approximately 53.96 grams of MD drugs and the SUV used to transport the contraband. The estimated value of the seized drugs is around Rs 20 lakh. The accused confessed to being habitual drug abusers and dealers.

An FIR under Section 8/22 of the NDPS Act has been registered, and further legal action is underway.
