A special team from Coimbatore City Police arrested a 41-year-old drug distributor from Haryana, Sachin Garg, on charges of supplying prescription drugs to local peddlers. The police confiscated 19,500 tablets of prescription medication that Garg had been stockpiling for illegal sale.
Garg, a wholesale pharmaceutical distributor from Ambala, Haryana, was arrested following an investigation into illegal drug trafficking activities. Authorities discovered that Garg was involved in the illegal distribution of prescription drugs, which were being supplied to local peddlers in Coimbatore.
