JONESBORO, Ark. — A Wynne woman previously convicted of theft was arrested again this week after allegedly shoplifting at a Walmart in Jonesboro.
Haley Jo Mullins, 30, is facing a Class D felony charge of theft of $1,000 or less, second offense, after police were called to the Walmart on Parker Road on Jan. 12.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Walmart loss prevention staff reported that Mullins was seen concealing merchandise. She was detained and escorted to the store’s loss prevention office.
When officers arrived and ran her information, they discovered Mullins had a recent theft conviction involving property valued over $1,000 and was currently on probation for that offense.
Mullins was taken into custody and booked into the Craighead County Detention Center. Her bail was set at $1,500 cash or surety on Jan. 13, and her next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 28.
