Gurugram police have arrested three individuals, including a house help, in connection with a high-value theft in Sector 53. The accused stole jewellery worth Rs 30 lakh, Rs 1.50 lakh cash, and a pistol from Saraswati Kunj on August 2.

The stolen items also included seven cartridges, gold and silver jewellery, and a car used in the crime. The accused were produced before a city court and sent to police remand for two days.

The arrested have been identified as Ranveer Singh from Maharajpur village, Sambhal district (UP); Hariom from Dibai village, Bulandshahr district (UP); and Neha from Chakri village, Jhansi district (UP).

Neha, who worked as domestic help at the victim’s residence, confessed that after the death of the house owner’s father, she and her accomplices planned the theft. While the family was distracted, they broke in, stole the locker from the cupboard, and fled. The police are continuing their investigation.
