Four Arrested for Armed Robbery of Rs10.20 Lakh in Kasaragod

Police nab Bihar and Assam natives in Mavungala armed robbery case

In a significant breakthrough, Kasaragod Police have arrested four individuals in connection with the armed robbery of Rs10.20 lakh from a crusher manager at Mavungala, Kanhangad, on Thursday (March 6).

The arrested suspects have been identified as Muhammed Ebron Alam (21), Muhammed Malik (21), and Muhammad Farooq (30), all hailing from Bihar, along with Dhananjan Bora (22) from Assam.

The robbery occurred around 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday (March 5) when P.P. Raveendran, the stockyard manager of Jas Granite Aggregate Private Limited, was returning home from the crusher. According to reports, the suspects intercepted Raveendran and forcibly took the cash he was carrying.

Following a swift investigation, police arrested the suspects, and further inquiries are ongoing. The arrest is a major step in resolving the Rs10.20 lakh armed robbery case in the Mavungala area.
