Victim’s Brother and Cousins Among Those Arrested in Medchal Murder

The Medchal police have successfully solved the murder of 24-year-old G Umesh, who was killed in broad daylight at the Medchal bus depot on Sunday. On Monday, the police arrested five youths, including the victim’s brother and cousins, in connection with the crime.

The arrested suspects are identified as G Rakesh, the younger brother of the victim, and G Laxman, B Naveen, B Suresh, and B Naresh, all cousins of the victim. All the suspects are residents of Medchal and originally hail from Kamareddy district.

The crime, which occurred in full public view, stunned the local community, and the police quickly launched an investigation. The arrests were made after a thorough investigation into the family dynamics and the motives behind the murder.
