A shocking daylight theft of Rs8.50 lakh and 40 sovereigns of gold from a house in Aluva, which was reported earlier this month, has been exposed as a fabricated story, according to the Ernakulam Rural police.
The incident initially seemed like a straightforward theft, with a complaint lodged at the Aluva police station. However, after a thorough investigation, the police discovered that the entire theft had been staged.
36-year-old Anwar, also known as “Ustad”, a resident of Thrissur and a tenant in Kalamassery, was arrested in connection with the incident. The police allege that Anwar, who is involved in sorcery and black magic, orchestrated the theft to cover up his own actions.
Further investigation revealed that Anwar’s involvement in black magic played a crucial role in staging the theft, making it a deliberate attempt to mislead authorities. Authorities have expressed concern over the increasing involvement of such practices in criminal activities.
Anwar’s arrest has raised questions about the extent to which black magic and sorcery are being used to carry out crimes in the region. Police have assured that further investigations will continue, with efforts to uncover any potential connections to other criminal activities.
