Elijah Davis and Jordan Nance Arrested in Elizabethtown Attempted Murder

Two Men Charged in Violent Break-In and Attempted Kidnapping in N.C.

Two men have been arrested in connection with an attempted murder case in Elizabethtown, N.C. The Elizabethtown Police Department charged Elijah Davis, 34, and Jordan Nance, 28, following a violent break-in at an apartment on McLeod Street on March 31.

According to arrest warrants, Davis allegedly attempted to kidnap a woman inside the apartment by dragging her out the back door and threatening to kill her. Nance is accused of providing a getaway car for Davis during the incident.

Davis faces multiple charges, including:

First-degree burglary

Attempted first-degree murder

Attempted kidnapping

Two counts of communicating threats

Injury to personal property

Nance has been charged with:

First-degree burglary

Attempted first-degree murder

Attempted kidnapping

Davis is being held under a $2.5 million secured bond, while Nance’s bond is set at $1.5 million. The investigation is ongoing.
