On April 19, officers from the Oxford Police Department arrested a man and woman in connection with a credit card fraud incident at a hotel on Heritage Drive.
Following an investigation at the scene, authorities charged 23-year-old Dylan Gillespie and 51-year-old Debra Gillespie with one count each of credit card fraud. The circumstances surrounding the fraudulent activity have not been fully disclosed.
Both suspects were taken before a Municipal Court Judge for their initial bond hearings. Further legal proceedings are expected as the investigation continues.
