On September 24, 2025, a robbery occurred at Muhammad Ramzan’s jewellery shop in Mailsi, where thieves stole seven tolas of gold, Rs 400,000 in cash, and several mobile phones. DSP Mailsi, Saeed Ahmad Sial, along with SHO Garha Mor Amin Jhandeer, initiated an investigation that quickly pointed to the victim’s nephew, Mudassar Ikram, as a prime suspect.
Using a combination of human intelligence and modern technology, police arrested Mudassar Ikram, who confessed to committing the crime with his accomplices Mudassar Afzal and Muhammad Mehran. The stolen property was fully recovered and returned to its rightful owner.
