A shocking theft took place in Noida’s Sector 41, where a domestic help, furious over being dismissed, stole jewellery worth Rs 1 crore and Rs 5 lakh in cash from the family’s bungalow with the help of the family’s driver. However, the duo’s plans were foiled when police arrested both accused and recovered all the stolen items.

Sumit Shukla, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, confirmed that the accused, Samarjeet and Sandeep Singh, have been arrested. Samarjeet had worked as a domestic help with the victim’s family for two and a half years before being fired. Enraged by his dismissal, Samarjeet plotted the theft, managing to steal the house keys in secret. He then involved the family’s driver, Sandeep, in the scheme.

Together, the two men executed the theft, making off with the jewellery and cash. Once the theft was discovered, the victim filed a complaint, leading the Sector-39 police station to register an FIR and launch an investigation.

Through electronic surveillance and local intelligence, the police tracked down and arrested both accused. According to Shukla, Samarjeet hails from Bihar, while Sandeep Singh is originally from Gorakhpur. At the time of their arrest, both suspects were living in a rented house in Aghapur village. The stolen items were recovered in full, and the duo has been sent to jail.
