Dennis Banks Jr. Arrested for Murder in Beloit

Beloit Police Charge Banks with First Degree Homicide

BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — Dennis Banks Jr., 31, has been arrested in connection with a murder that occurred on Monday in Beloit.

Officers from the Town of Beloit Police Department, City of Beloit Police Department, and deputies from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene in the 1900 block of Wisconsin Avenue at around 3:47 p.m. The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following an investigation by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau, Banks was identified as the suspect. He was arrested on Friday and has been charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
