Dakha Police Arrest Two for Stealing Farm Produce

Police recover stolen potatoes and vehicle from suspects

In a major breakthrough, Dakha police have apprehended two individuals involved in stealing farm produce from local residents. The arrested suspects, Harpinder Singh (alias Happy) and Amanjit Singh, were taken into custody after a complaint was filed by a farmer from Majri village. The police have also recovered a significant quantity of stolen potatoes, which were part of the haul.

Gurmit Singh, a local resident, reported that his stock of potatoes was stolen from his farm, leading to the arrest of the two suspects. Investigations revealed that Harpinder and Amanjit used a vehicle to transport the stolen goods. The authorities are continuing their investigation into the theft and are still searching for two other individuals believed to be involved in the crime.

The arrested men have been booked under Sections 303 (2), 305, 331 (4), and 112 of the BNS at the Dakha police station. The stolen produce and the vehicle used for transportation were recovered from their possession. Police expect to make further arrests as they continue their inquiries.
