Dablu Mistry Arrested for Murder in Gaya Over Tobacco Dispute

Suspect Arrested for Allegedly Killing Raju After Tobacco Argument

On Wednesday night, Dablu Mistry, also known as Pagla, was apprehended by the police for allegedly killing Raju, a cook from Brahmani Ghat, in Gaya. The murder occurred after a heated argument between the two over Raju’s refusal to provide tobacco (khaini) to Mistry. The disagreement escalated when Mistry struck Raju with a brick, leading to his tragic death.

According to SSP Anand Kumar, Mistry was arrested promptly following the crime, and an FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) team has collected evidence from the crime scene. Police are now preparing to request a speedy trial for the accused.

This senseless act of violence has left the local community in shock, as a simple tobacco dispute turned fatal. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the case.
