Acting on a tip-off, a police team from Markat Nagar Police Station conducted a successful raid and arrested Sona, who was found in an auto rickshaw with registration number OD-05-BX-4955. Upon inspecting the vehicle, the authorities seized a country-made revolver, one live ammunition, two handmade bombs, and an explosive stick.
The police revealed that Sona has been involved in several criminal cases across different police stations in Cuttack, including theft and robbery. Due to the severity of the charges, the authorities have filed cases against him under various sections of the Arms Act and the Explosive Substances Act.
The investigation is ongoing, and further legal actions are expected as the police work to uncover more details of Sona’s criminal activities.
