A months-long investigation by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) has led to the arrest of 52-year-old Cornelius Lemar Autry of Elizabethtown, following multiple complaints of drug activity near White Lake.
According to BCSO, undercover deputies purchased narcotics from Autry as part of the operation. On Tuesday, June 3, authorities arrested him at his residence on McLean Road.
Autry faces the following charges:
Two counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and/or deliver Schedule II controlled substances
Two counts of felony possession of Schedule II controlled substances
Following his arrest, Autry was released on a $50,000 secured bond.
The sheriff’s office continues to monitor drug-related activity in the area and encourages the public to report any suspicious behavior to local authorities.
