Owego Police Arrest Suspect in Armed Robbery at Kwik Fill Gas Station
OWEGO, N.Y. – The Owego Police Department has arrested 33-year-old Corey E. Reynolds in connection with an armed robbery at the Kwik Fill gas station on North Avenue.
The incident occurred on Thursday, January 30th, around 9:40 p.m. Officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at the gas station. Investigators say Reynolds entered the store wearing a mask and brandished a knife, demanding cash from the cashier.
A description of Reynolds and his vehicle was provided by witnesses, leading to his arrest. Reynolds has been charged with first-degree robbery, a Class B felony, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a Class D felony.
He was arraigned in the Tioga County Centralized Arraignment Court and is currently being held in the Tioga County Jail with bail set at $50,000 cash or $100,000 property bond.
