MADISONVILLE, Ky. — Christian Suttle was arrested and jailed after police discovered him under the influence in a Burger King drive-thru on Chelsea Drive.
Officers responded to a wellness check call about a black truck parked between the drive-thru windows. When police arrived, Suttle was seen driving behind the building and parking in front of the restaurant. Police observed he was sweating profusely and had dilated pupils.
Suttle claimed he had fallen asleep while waiting for a DoorDash order but later admitted to smoking methamphetamine a few hours earlier.
A vehicle search uncovered a glass smoking pipe and a baggie with suspected methamphetamine.
Suttle was booked into Hopkins County Jail on charges including Operating a Motor Vehicle while Under the Influence, Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
