The Parrish Police Department is actively searching for two suspects involved in separate incidents earlier this month.
On October 10, officers found a suspicious motorcycle at an abandoned house on White Street. The driver fled on foot, and the motorcycle was identified as stolen from Winston County. The suspect, Donny Carr, 55, of Jasper, faces charges for receiving stolen property in the first degree. Carr also has multiple outstanding warrants across various jurisdictions.
In an unrelated event on October 1, officers attempted to stop a suspicious vehicle on Main Drive. The driver, Michael Tyree, 52, of Berry, fled at high speed toward Tuscaloosa Road, dangerously swerving into oncoming traffic. For public safety, the pursuit was called off. Tyree is wanted for attempting to elude and has a probation revocation with the Walker County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of Carr or Tyree to contact the Parrish Police Department or the relevant sheriff’s departments.
