WILMINGTON, N.C. — Camden White, 19, has been charged with second-degree murder following the fatal shooting of his father early Saturday morning.
Police responded to reports of gunshots around 12:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Colonial Drive. Upon arrival, officers detained White without incident.
Inside the home, officers found Michael White deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Michael White was identified as the suspect’s father.
Camden White is currently held without bond at the NHSO Detention Center. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
