RED BLUFF, Calif. — A 23-year-old man, Brandon Matlock, was arrested Thursday afternoon following a domestic violence incident in Red Bluff. The Red Bluff Police Department (RBPD) responded to a call at the 400 block of Wiltsey Road around 3 p.m., where Matlock was accused of assaulting both a 22-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man.
The situation escalated when it was reported that the woman was holding her 1-year-old child during the assault, further complicating the circumstances. Matlock fled the scene in a blue BMW, but officers were able to locate the vehicle on Antelope Boulevard. A traffic stop was initiated around 3:10 p.m. on Gilmore Road without the need for a pursuit.
Matlock was arrested and now faces multiple charges, including domestic violence, burglary, probation violation, and child abuse.
