Bokaro Police Arrest Five Thieves in Shashi Shekhar Burglary Case

Five history-sheeters nabbed for theft from Bahadurpur villager’s home

Bokaro SP Harvinder Singh said the arrests came after a complaint was filed by Bahadurpur villager Shashi Shekhar regarding a burglary at his residence on the night of August 27-28. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) used a combination of technical evidence and human intelligence to track down and apprehend the accused, all of whom have prior criminal records.

The arrested individuals were identified as Ravi Kumar Kherwar (30), Angrakshak Kherwar (25), Kohinoor Kherwar (22), Ashutosh Kumar alias Sunny (18), all residents of Kothar in Ramgarh, and Abhay Kumar Saw (25) from Chhatarpur, Ramgarh.

Police recovered a significant amount of stolen goods, including gold and silver ornaments, approximately Rs 4,500 in cash, tools used for breaking into houses, and a car that was employed during the crime.

The police continue their investigations into the case.
