Blaze Fiorini Arrested for Stolen Car in Urbana

18-year-old caught with stolen Hyundai Sonata in Urbana

URBANA, Ohio —
Police arrested 18-year-old Blaze Fiorini of St. Paris Monday after finding a stolen 2013 Hyundai Sonata behind an apartment building on North Main Street.

The investigation began around 8 a.m. after the vehicle was reported stolen overnight from behind the 200 block of Scioto Street. Surveillance footage showed the Hyundai driving through town around 4 a.m. Later, a citizen spotted the car behind a building in the 500 block of North Main Street and notified authorities.

Officers found several people near the stolen vehicle and identified Fiorini as the suspect. He admitted to stealing and driving the car around the city overnight.

Fiorini has a prior 2025 conviction for motor vehicle theft and was on probation for that offense at the time of the new crime.

He was charged with:

Felony grand theft of a motor vehicle

Receiving stolen property

Falsification

Obstruction

Fiorini was booked into the Tri-County Regional Jail and arraigned on October 14. His next court date is scheduled for October 20.
