April Martino Arrested for Designer Clothing Theft

$1,000 in goods stolen from West Palm Beach boutique

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A 47-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a theft of high-end designer clothing from a local consignment boutique.

According to the West Palm Beach Police Department, April Martino was caught on surveillance footage on September 3 at a store on South Dixie Highway. The video shows her removing anti-theft tags and concealing items before exiting the boutique without paying.

The stolen items included a blouse, swimsuit, and dress from well-known designer brands, totaling nearly $1,000 in value.

Detectives identified Martino and located her during a traffic stop on September 18, where she was arrested without incident.

She faces charges of:

Grand Theft

Retail Theft involving the use or possession of an anti-theft device

Martino is currently in custody as the investigation continues.
