COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A 46-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with a large-scale retail theft operation spanning several Ohio cities.
Angela Sizemore was taken into custody on September 22, after investigators linked her to a string of thefts in Columbus, Grove City, and Upper Arlington. According to Columbus police, Sizemore is facing multiple charges, including:
Organized Theft of Retail Property
Receiving Stolen Property
Failure to Comply
43 counts of misdemeanor and felony theft
Police say the alleged thefts took place between May 29 and September 22, with the total value of stolen goods estimated at $39,711. At the time of her arrest, Sizemore reportedly had several active warrants and was found inside a stolen Toyota.
Sizemore appeared in Franklin County Municipal Court on Wednesday for arraignment on 15 different cases. The court set a $100,000 bond for the charge of fleeing and eluding, with other individual bonds ranging between $10,000 and $20,000.
Authorities continue to investigate the extent of the thefts, as Sizemore’s alleged crime spree impacted multiple retail stores and communities across central Ohio.
