Angel Morris Arrested in Springfield Stabbing, Drug Bust

Police find nearly 400 grams of cocaine in suspect’s car

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) — Springfield Police have arrested 46-year-old Angel Morris in connection with a stabbing investigation that led officers to discover nearly 400 grams of cocaine in her vehicle.

Police responded to the 200 block of Orange Street around 11 p.m. Monday, where they found a woman suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds and recovered a knife at the scene.

Within an hour, detectives identified Morris as the suspect and located her vehicle on the 0–100 block of Revere Street. During the search, officers found a bag containing almost 400 grams of cocaine.

Morris was taken into custody and is facing multiple charges related to the stabbing and drug possession.

The victim was treated for her injuries, and the investigation remains ongoing, according to Springfield Police.
