An Elkton woman, Amanda Hall, 35, was arrested over the weekend after a traffic stop in Princeton led to multiple drug charges.
According to Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison, officers stopped Hall’s vehicle on West Main Street around 8:30 p.m. Saturday for an expired license plate.
During the stop, officers detected the smell of marijuana, prompting further investigation. Police found Hall in possession of marijuana, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
Hall was arrested and charged with no registration plates, no insurance, expired operator’s license, possession of marijuana, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
Additionally, a passenger in the vehicle, 35-year-old Robert Baker of Princeton, was cited for possession of marijuana and an open alcohol container.
