ALTOONA, Pa. — Jeffrey Robertson Jr., 30, was arrested on April 7, 2025, in Altoona after allegedly preparing to deliver heroin to an informant. Robertson faces multiple charges, including possession with intent to deliver, possession of drugs, and criminal use of a communication facility.
According to the criminal complaint, police were tipped off by an informant who claimed they could purchase five stamp bags of heroin from Robertson for $100, each marked with the word “Chucky.” Officers set up surveillance around the 2300 block of Broad Avenue, where they observed Robertson engaging in suspicious behavior. The complaint stated that Robertson accepted the $100, then informed the buyer he needed to meet his supplier.
As part of their investigation, police followed Robertson to a meeting with an unknown individual on a bicycle at 29th Street and West Chestnut Avenue. After the meeting, Robertson allegedly tried to flee on foot, crossing 29th Street and Broad Avenue before being apprehended by officers.
During a search, police found five bags of heroin stamped with “Chucky” and burnt foil with drug residue inside a candy bag. When questioned, Robertson reportedly admitted he was planning to skim some heroin off the top for himself before completing the delivery.
Robertson was arraigned and is being held in Blair County Prison with bail set at $50,000.
This arrest follows a separate drug bust earlier this week, where Altoona police took another alleged drug dealer into custody after three separate controlled buys.
