LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — Louisville Metro Police arrested 27-year-old Alex Benjamin Ramirez-Barillas after he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home and assaulted her.
On Saturday, June 22, police responded to a call at Thornton’s on South 3rd Street, where a female victim reported fleeing domestic violence. She told officers that Ramirez-Barillas had entered her home through an unlocked door and attacked her.
When officers accompanied the victim back to her residence, they found Ramirez-Barillas there. He tried to flee on foot but was pursued and arrested by LMPD.
Ramirez-Barillas faces multiple charges, including burglary, robbery, strangulation, assault, and fleeing from law enforcement.
