NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Alanna James, 20, has been arrested in Davidson County and faces 28 charges for allegedly stealing over $50,000 in merchandise from multiple Nashville stores over the past few months.
Authorities say James targeted stores including Norstrom, Alo Yoga, Lululemon, Nike, and Sephora at Kohl’s locations between July and September. In many instances, she reportedly acted with accomplices, taking items such as leggings, jackets, hoodies, body care products, and sports bras without paying.
Detectives matched surveillance footage to James’ driver’s license and social media accounts. A search warrant on her phone allegedly revealed messages coordinating the sale of stolen merchandise.
Among her charges are eight counts of organized retail crime. She is currently not eligible for bond. James is scheduled to appear in court on November 25.
