The Jammu and Kashmir Police successfully solved a blind murder case in Udhampur district within a week, leading to the arrest of Ajit Kumar, a resident of Rumain, Ramnagar Tehsil. The case stemmed from the discovery of an unidentified body in Kunju Nallah on December 25.
Following the report, the police registered a case and began an intensive investigation, using evidence and technical data to identify several suspects. After interrogating the suspects, Ajit Kumar confessed to the crime, admitting that he murdered the victim due to personal animosity.
The police have arrested Kumar, and the investigation is ongoing to uncover additional details about the crime.
