On December 11, Forsyth County law enforcement arrested Scott Wallis and his daughter, Brittany Brumbelow, for possession of a stolen vehicle and firearm. The pair were apprehended after deputies received an alert about a stolen black Dodge Caliber seen traveling on Hwy 9.

Authorities quickly located the vehicle on Matt Hwy and conducted a traffic stop. The investigation revealed that Wallis and Brumbelow were involved in an altercation with a woman who had asked them to leave her residence. Following the assault, the pair allegedly took the woman’s vehicle and firearm before fleeing the scene.

Both suspects were arrested on charges of felony theft by receiving stolen property. They are currently held in the Forsyth County Jail awaiting further proceedings.
