In a successful operation, the Kendrapada Police arrested a seven-member gang of dacoits on Sunday, accused of committing a dacoity at a house on December 4. The police seized a revolver, three sharp weapons, 30 grams of stolen gold ornaments, 235 grams of silver, Rs 46,000 in cash, and six mobile phones from the gang members’ possession. Additionally, three bikes used in the commission of the crime were also recovered.

The Dacoity Incident
On December 4, the gang carried out a house robbery in Kendrapada. They targeted the residence, stole valuable gold ornaments and silver, and fled the scene. Based on intelligence and further investigation, the Kendrapada Police managed to track down the suspects, leading to their arrest.
