Vasco Police have arrested three employees of Reliance Smart Bazar, Dabolim, for allegedly stealing goods worth Rs40,637. The trio reportedly took store items without billing them for personal use.
The accused have been identified as Santosh Naik, Kumar Muradi, and Akash Balbhati. All three are residents of Vasco and originally from Karnataka. Authorities confirmed that the theft was internal, carried out by staff taking advantage of their access to the store.
Police are investigating further to determine if there were any additional accomplices or unaccounted losses.
