HOUSTON, Texas — A Houston woman was arrested for allegedly skip-scanning merchandise at a Walmart, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.

The incident occurred on Jan. 4, 2026, at the Walmart on the 26200 block of the Northwest Freeway. Authorities say Mariah Bradley allegedly skip-scanned items valued at $127.00 and left the store without paying.

Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office located Bradley nearby. She was arrested and transported to the Harris County Jail, where she was booked for theft. Her bond was set at $100 in County Court 7, officials stated.

Constable Herman’s office reminds residents that retail theft is taken seriously and encourages anyone with information about similar incidents to report it to law enforcement.
